In Warsaw, on 15 November 2016, Stołowe Mountains National Park signed an agreement with National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management for a subsidy of the project: “Comprehensive implementation of educational exhibition in PNGS Ecocentre” as part of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme 2014-2020 from the Cohesion Fund, including the adaptation to climate change, act 2.4 Environmental protection and education.
The creation of the exhibition in PNGS Ecocentre implemented as part of the project: “Comprehensive implementation of educational exhibition in PNGS Ecocentre” allows significant improvement of the educational offer of PNGS and extension of educational activities. Within the framework of project implementation an innovative exhibition was created, which makes use of modern presentation solutions. Implementation of novel solutions and preparation of a “hands-on” exhibition allowed us to have the visitors interact with the presented content. The modern exhibition is an innovative narrative medium, which lets the visitors to create stories, discover and explore on their own.
The advanced interactive exhibition medium presents selected aspects of the Stołowe Mountains’ nature and also allows discovering the geological past of that fragment of Sudetes.
The exhibition is also available to the disabled. There are interactive guides available in foreign languages – Czech, German, and English.
The project was concluded in the first quarter of 2019.
The total value of the project is: PLN 3,626,040.00, whereas the EU funds subsidy from Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme was PLN 2,505,800.00.
The execution of the project “Comprehensive implementation of educational exhibition in PNGS Ecocentre” was also supported financially by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw.
Subsidy from national funds was PLN 442,200.
